NIBCA held its 6th Annual Sporting Clay Challenge yesterday.

Thank you to all the shooters, our sponsors, and Camp Lowden!

There was a change in venue this year.  The Boy Scouts of America, Blackhawk Area Council opened their new shooting range at Camp Lowden to us.  Jake Dykstra, Cord Construction, and other BSA volunteers built the shooting stands and gun racks over the winter.  For the design of the course by Dan Roeschli, trees were removed earlier this spring for placement of the stations to get ready in time for our event.  Thank you to Scott Seibert, Scout Exe. and all the “Scouters” that make this a great event!

The rain stopped just in time and it turned into a beautiful day for the event.  Great food was catered from the Hoffman House and prizes at the end of the day made for a fun event.

Top Shot was a three way tie:

Kyle Christensen, Marty Geweke and Joe Kukla from Sjostrom & Sons team (95 of 100 shots!)

First Place Team:  Sjostrom & Sons (Team 1)

Kyle Christensen, Marty Geweke, Joe Kukla & Jim Nelson

Second Place Team:  Ringland-Johnson Construction (Team 1)
